The Purpose of the Watershed Planning Section is to implement sections 303(d) and 303(e) of the Clean Water Act. The section is responsible to identify and prioritize impaired streams, lakes, and wetlands and develop Total Maximum Daily Loads for the high priority waterbodies as required by the Clean Water Act.
